I’m Hayley Slye, I believe good design improves our quality of life.

To me, beauty is being a little bit offbeat. Spaces with a point of view that push boundaries or play with convention really speak to me.

professional experience

I work currently as a Junior Designer at Hayley Bridges Design, a residential firm in Santa Barbara, CA. I love working with Principal Designer Hayley Bridges to create beautiful, unique homes for our clients.

In my previous role as an Interior Designer at IKEA, I worked to adapt and maintain room settings according to stock and the San Antonio, TX market. I was constantly working creatively in this role to find solutions that “improve life at home.”

Before beginning my design career, I earned a degree in journalism and history from Cal State Fullerton in 2017. I was the EIC of my college newspaper and went on to work in sports media for a professional baseball team.
